A Jacksonville-raised attorney, I emigrated from the Philippines in my early teens. I attended and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and the University Of
North Florida obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (Corporate track). After several years as a paralegal for local attorneys and in the corporate arena
(Merrill Lynch) as the primary paralegal in charge of SEC registration/closings of real-estate mortgage interest conduits (REMICs), I attended and graduated from
Florida Costal School of Law, with honors.
Upon admission to The Florida Bar in October 2004, I worked as an associate with The Coleman Law Firm, and within a few months, established my own solo practice.
My firm concentrates in Family Law, general litigation, estate planning, probate and guardianships, foreclosure defense, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Our office is one
of only a few legal firms in Jacksonville who prepares Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) and similar “pension-plan-dividing” orders.
Interestingly, my career in the field of law began in high school. After winning the award for fastest Gregg shorthand skills and fastest typist, I
sought a career as a legal secretary. Soon after I was promoted to legal assistant status. As an immigrant, I understand full well the issues relating to obtaining
legal status and citizenship. Coming from a country that was in the midst of martial law, I saw the importance of an effective Constitution and legal system. As a
former legal assistant, I learned how to communicate with clients and explain the law to them in plain and simple terms. As an attorney, I provide clients with
highly competent, passionate, and compassionate legal counsel.
Our office is located in Historic Riverside, near the Five Points area, with off-street as well as rear parking. We provide quality professional service with
family-oriented client care. I speak my native Filipino language (Tagalog), and we have staff who speaks Farsi (Persian). We can provide translators for Spanish
and other languages, if needed, in order to provide you with a more effective, superior client services.
We are here to serve your legal needs. If you have any special needs, please do not hesitate to contact our office so that we may better serve you.
